Chocolate Custard Buns

It has been quite awhile with my bread baking... I was browsing through my recipe book and I wasn't sure what bread I should bake as there are some "strict restrictions & preference" from my hubby & the girls... Headache ah...

But anyway, I decided to try this Chocolate Custard Buns. And I wasn't sure if they will like it.. Hmmm, let's try...

Chocolate Custard Buns

The process of making the bread dough.

Mould it round, proof for 10 mins.

Flatten it & wrap in fillings.

For the final bread proofing for 45 mins.

The before & after.

Egg wash & coated with streusel on top.

Closed up picture.

While the bread was baking in the oven, the aroma of the bread smells so wonderful. I had always love the aroma of the freshly baked bread!!! Do you???

These buns are really soft, crispy at the top, plus the streusel... Delicious!!!

The balance 1 dough that could fit into the tray, I use a paper cup for it.

Cute isn't it???
