Oreo Butter Cake

Mummy Eileen swears that this is a good recipe to try... So after 1 week later, I made this... Also being my yoghurt going to expire in 3 days time... ooops... hehehe...



Oreo Butter Cake


And my MiMi, just can't wait to set her hands on the cake...

The cake is indeed soft and moist...


And of course, Mimi is having her fair share of cake finally!!!






Ingredients:

220g flour, sifted

1 tsp baking powder, sifted

1 tsp baking soda, sifted

80g unsalted butter

130g sugar

240ml yoghurt

2 eggs

1/4 tsp salt

80g oreo, mashed (cream removed)



Method:

1. Whisk butter, sugar and salt till creamy and pale.

2. Beat the egg one at a time, mix well till combined.

3. Add in 1/3 of the flour mixture, mix well. Add in half of the yoghurt, mix well.

4. Add in 1/2 of the remaining flour, mix well. Add in the remaining yoghurt and continue to mix.

5. Finally, add in the remaining flour and mix till combined.

6. Fold in the mashed oreo.

7. Baked in a preheated oven of 180degC for about 35-40 minutes or until a skewer comes out cleaned.
