Cake Pops

I was still trying to make a swiss roll with "skin"... :-P


But I just couldn't do it, maybe I overbake or underbake, or I just simply have yet to master the skills.... kekekeke


So today I had the mood of trying out a Chocolate Rice Swiss Roll...


Here is the recipe from Happy Flour


Ingredients

3 eggs

55g fine sugar

2tsp cocoa powder

1tbsp milk

1/2tsp chocolate paste

65g cake flour

1/4tsp baking powder

35g veg. oil

I was so happy that my cake came out so NICE and with SKIN!!! I was so thrill with the result...


But to my shock.... my cake cracked when I was trying to roll it up and the "skin" sticked onto the parchment paper :(:(


I left the whole roll inside the fridge, kept thinking what did I do wrong...?? And Nic was asking me, "Mummy, is my swiss roll ready?"


Pondering for a long time, I thought, maybe I can make them into cake pops that I saw from a food blog few days ago...

There we go... My cake pop!!!





Nic loves the cake pops and she finished most of them, Nat, just ate the sprinkles that was coated outside and threw the cake ball back into the box... Daddy & I tried, too sweet for us... :-p
